 2008 Easter Sunday Service

Our Easter service was inspired by the Holy Spirit and touched the hearts of many. We began our service with an interview in a television studio which depicted what might have happened in an interview with some of those involved with Jesus in His final days. Our Interviewer/Bonnie Lyda portrayed a tough journalist who begins to soften while she conducts her interviews with Mary Magdalene/Jerica Scott, Pilate/Donnie Pearce, Roman Soldier/Donny Roberts, Peter/Jamie Anderson, and Herod/Bobby Cost. Each of these give thier accounts of the events leading up to crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Our pastor, Ron Tilley, and some of our teenagers concluded the service with a dramatic interpretation to the song "Everything". It begins with Jesus and His precious creation of a human being and portrays the closeness He desires for us to have with Him. But then the cares of everyday life, desires, ambitions, and the Devil's schemes (sin) come in to rob this closeness. Those teens in the cast included: Hana Warren, Jasper Davis, Shelby Maddox, Elijah Davis, Tabetha Pearce, Meagan Anderson, and Daniel Pearce.
